The list of skills required to be successful in real estate is long!

You must be good at building relationships, be a creative problem-solver and a skillful negotiator, have excellent research skills, be a great communicator, and be self-motivated. Most realtors are drawn to the profession because they naturally have many of these skills.

However, the list of skills required to be a successful realtor doesn’t stop there. You must be able to draft precise paperwork, manage a huge amount of very important and very detailed information, write flawless and engaging marketing content, be a social media strategist, have an enormous marketing budget and the skills to deploy it, be an expert about real estate law and banking, manage your accounting, bookkeeping & continuing education.

You also need to do this 24/7 with virtually no training and hardly any support.

Most realtors are not as strong on the second set of skills and often spend double or triple as much time struggling through these back-end tasks compared with the time they spend on the enjoyable (and income-producing) activities.

The end result is an inferior client experience, less job satisfaction, and less money.

  • We are seeking an experienced and charismatic REALTOR®. This is an exciting and unique opportunity to take your business to the next level with the advertising, mentoring, training, resources and support of the #1 RE/MAX Team in Manitoba (GCI; 2019-23) behind you.

    The successful candidate:

    1. Is self-directed and organized; able to set daily/weekly/monthly goals, then meet them on schedule

    2. Can manage a large amount of client data and relationships;

    3. Is fun, likeable and has a sense of humour;

    4. Demonstrates honesty, integrity and responsibility;

    5. Presents in a polished and professional manner in person, via text, phone and email;

    6. Responds quickly to client and team communications; is prompt and on time, at all times;

    7. Has an excellent phone presence to motivate, energize and build confidence in clients and colleagues;

    8. Has demonstrated the ability to cultivate leads and close deals.

    Responsibilities include:

    Independently and professionally manage clients, including:

    1. Providing clients with exceptional top-notch customer service.

    2. Aggressively and proactively working for your clients.

    3. Negotiating and writing precise contracts.

    4. Responding and contributing to regular communications with the team, including daily productivity reporting.

    5. Carrying-out regular lead generation activities.
