My career spans decades and across multiple industries, with one theme: working one-on-one with people to improve their futures. Building wealth through real estate has been a focus of mine for many years, and using my lifetime of professional skills to make that a reality for my clients is the perfect career for me.

 
 

Early Years

As a proud lifelong resident of Winnipeg, I have a deep and intimate understanding of the local market, it’s diverse neighborhoods, and the communities within. 

I grew up in Charleswood and graduated from St Paul’s High School In 1997. My introduction to real estate was when I bought my first house on Cathcart street after graduating from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor in Education. I didn’t know much at that time, but I did know that investing in real estate was a good idea.

My focus in my early adulthood was on developing my career in teaching, and raising young family.

Although I enjoyed teaching and inspiring my students, and ultimately supported my family through 25 successful years as a teacher, teaching wasn’t a good fit with my business mind and entrepreneurial drive.

Later in my teaching career I looked for other ways to use those skills, so I also worked as a financial consultant. The focus of my platform was educating individuals and families on how to build wealth, reduce debt and plan for the future. I found with greater understanding, came greater confidence and empowerment in making important financial decisions such as buying/selling a home.

Taking the Leap Into Real Estate

After teaching for 25 years, I felt it was time for a change. I decided to pursue my passion for real estate and invest my time and energy into becoming a REALTOR and a member of the Moore Group.

The appeal of being able to work with an amazing team of professionals to help individuals and families achieve their dreams was so exciting. This career is the perfect fit for my skill set and drive. I have never looked back.

My Commitment to You

As a former teacher and financial educator and consultant, I bring a wealth of experience working with individuals and families. I have served as a dedicated volunteer, coach and board member in South Winnipeg and have developed a strong work ethic that is committed to serving others.

After Hours

I have lived in Charleswood, Linden Woods, and I currently live in St Norbert with my wife, two teenage sons and daughter.

When my oldest started playing hockey, I was quick to get on the ice to coach and I haven’t stopped volunteering as a coach and board member of South Winnipeg Hockey Association since.

Personally, I am a huge NFL fan, I play beer league hockey, enjoy playing golf, and love spending time at the cottage at West Hawk Lake with the family.
