MEET MANPINDER
Group Administrator
I am the Group Administrator (Unlicensed) for The Moore Group. My focus is to provide support for clients, coordinate the listing process, and support the overall day-to-day operations of the team. If there’s anything you need, please reach out to me!
Before The Moore Group
I came to the The Moore Group from the Seven Oaks School Division, where I wore many different hats in Seven Oaks, starting as a student!
In high school, I attended the Maples Met School, a Big Picture Learning, project and internship-based high school in the Seven Oaks School Division. One of my many internships was with Seven Oaks Immigrant Services, a program within the division that supported newcomers moving to Winnipeg.
I spent two years with Seven Oaks Immigrant Services as an intern, then got a permanent position as a Settlement Worker in Schools supporting newcomer students and their families. I had only been in that role for four months before I was offered a part-time leadership role, and then a full-time Coordinator role. I loved the balance between front line work and long-term strategic planning.
Eventually it was time for a change, and I left Seven Oaks and started with The Moore Group in March 2024.
While the two sectors are quite different, I find many similarities between the work I did in Seven Oaks and at The Moore Group. Most notably, the focus on the client care.
Outside of all this, I was previously an Air Cadet and enjoyed my summer training in Vernon, BC. I’m a previous speaker at TedxMaplesMetSchool, and have had a few different roles either volunteering or working part-time on election campaigns.
After Hours
Outside of work, I am involved with quite a few volunteer groups. I am a Director on the Steering Committee of the Basic Income Youth Collective (formerly Basic Income Canada Youth Network). I’ve also recently joined the Board for Evermore Gather Grow Learn, a local non-profit in West Central providing programming for children and youth.
I’m currently a student at the University of Winnipeg and taking Crisis Line training with Klinic Community Health.
